KOPALNIANA ELEKTRYCZNA LOKOMOTYWA TRAKCYJNA "EE"

The "EE" Electric Mine Locomotive is intended for rail transportation of materials and people in mines with hazardous conditions associated with gas explosion or carbon dust. The locomotive is able to work on tracks with max. deflection curve of 35‰, and in ambient temperature between od 0°C do + 40°C.

The locomotive is powered by two asynchronous engines equipped with an independent cooling system. The engines are controlled by the control unit with frequency converters which ensures high speed and torque reaction together with effective braking achieved by two independent systems:

dynamic braking – performed by electric engines
double-circuit mechanical braking – directly using the wheel running surface. The locomotive is equipped with ergonomic cabin which ensures visibility and steering in both directions.
